HOW DOES A SOLAR BATTERY WORK?

A solar battery is a rechargeable battery that stores energy generated from solar panels. Solar batteries work by converting the energy from the sun into a direct current (DC) voltage. This DC voltage is then stored in the battery. At night when there is no Solar Power generated by Solar panels, You can use the power stored in battery without paying your energy retailer for your electricity needs. Your Inverter will convert the DC voltage back into an alternating current (AC) voltage, which is then used to power the connected devices in your home.

Feed-in tariff is an incentive offered by energy providers to encourage switching to renewable energy sources like solar. It promises a particular amount in exchange of excess electricity sent back to the grid. Owners of solar systems receive feed-in tariffs in cents per kWh. The rates vary from state to state, depending also upon the size of the solar system, installation date, and its efficiency.
